Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with nice rooms and a cozy atmosphere offering a view to the abbey. However, the service was inconsistent, and the dining options were a bit overpriced. The location was amazing, but the access was a bit challenging.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean, although a bit cramped, but the view over the walls made up for it. The service, except for one waiter, was a bit rough due to the staff seeming burned out. The location was truly magical, allowing for serene evening walks on the ramparts. While the dining experience was decent, the need to go to a sister hotel for meals was a slight inconvenience.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were nice enough, although a bit small, reached by narrow spiral stairs, but with a lovely sunrise/sunset view that exceeded my expectations considering its age. The service was very nice overall, but the bar closed as soon as our evening meal completed without warning. The location was perfect for exploring both the lower grand rue and upper walkway to the Abbey, being close to the main gate and post office. The dining experience involved going to different places for meals but had fresh ingredients. Overall, a great experience with some minor inconveniences.
